Blackstar Records is located in the quiet country, 5 miles outside of Battle Ground, Washington. Our location is a perfect way to escape city life and run away to a quiet serene location where you can concentrate on the task at hand, Recording! With the town of Battle Ground so close, runs into town for any and all needs is quick and convenient!

Jon-Eric Pienkowski

Blackstar Records is owned and operated by Jon-Eric Pienkowski. Blackstar Records is capable of creating, producing, and recording, all genres of music!
Jon-Eric is an all around musician, playing the drums, bass, guitar, piano as well as singing. Jon-Eric is also a Trance/House/Drum n' Bass DJ. On top of all of that, Jon-Eric Pienkowski is also Blackstar Record's producer and recording engineer and has been doing so for more then 6 years.
   Jon-Eric is an Honor Graduate of the Audio Technical Institute's Recording Engineering training. Jon-Eric is also receiving training in Production,
Pro-Tools Engineering, and Electronic Song Production from Boston's Berklee College of Music Online.

Jon-Eric Pienkowski is also Trained in Electronic Song Production!
Electronic Song Production is the art of using electronic instruments to create songs and music as well as the creation and use of beats, loops, samples and other electronic "goodies".
(Examples: Hip-Hop production, R&B production, Techno/Dance production, Blues production, Jazz production, applying samples and loops to rock, metal, and pretty much any genre of music!)

    The intent of opening the record label/studio was to, "provide local artists and companies with any and all recording/label needs."
